Methodology

we follow the communicative approach method which is a system of teaching that allows students to reach a level of competence when encounter Spanish -speaking real life situations. In this method we help you to develop the four skills that are a requisite when learning a language: listening, reading, writing and speaking. On the lessons, we encourage students to use the Spanish language at most, with different techniques and materials ( course book) that are selected according to the student’s needs and level.

My name is Alicia Jara. I am a qualified Adult Teacher with over 8 year’s experience in one to one private tuition.
I have worked for various prestigious Language agencies across London over the years and recently I have extended my career of a private tutor to a language classroom teacher.

I am originally from South America (Ecuador) and a Linguistics Graduate from Kingston University, hold BA(Hons) in English Language and Linguistics. I have a diploma in Teaching Foreign Languages to Adults TFLA. In addition, I regularly undergo continuous professional development

I am experienced in teaching Spanish to people from all ages. Adults wishing to achieve a good standard of the language for relocation purposes. whether to go and live in some part of Spain or travel to Latin America, or secondary school students from the age of 12 in need of extra language learning support, or students wishing to prepare for their GCSE examinations.
